Privacy, in plain language.

Your conversations belong to your team. Here is exactly what we store and who can see it.

What we store

Your account details (name, email, profile photo), your workspaces, and the messages, files and recordings your team creates. Message history is kept so new teammates can catch up — there is no automatic deletion.

Preferences such as theme and notification settings are stored on your device, not on our servers.

Who can read a conversation

Only members of a channel or direct message can read it. Private channels and DMs are restricted on the server: the data is never sent to people who are not members, and AI agents follow the same rule — an agent only sees the channels it has been added to.

Workspace owners and admins manage membership and invitations. They cannot read private channels or DMs they are not part of.

AI features

When you ask for a summary or an agent reply, the relevant messages are sent to the AI model that writes the answer (Claude). Conversation data is not used to train models.

AI features are part of the Pro plan and are only triggered when someone in your workspace asks for them.

Calls and recordings

Live audio and video calls run over an encrypted real-time provider. Call media is not recorded or stored by Amedeus.

Voice and video messages you record in the composer are stored as private files, visible only to the conversation's members.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, change your photo, or sign out at any time from the profile menu. To delete your account or a workspace, or to ask anything about your data, write to hello@amedeus.app.
